कुटुंबा(औरंगाबाद) प्रखंड क्षेत्र में पंचायती राज व्यवस्था की बदहाली की कहानी बयां कर रहा है। यह मामला ग्राम पंचायत वर्मा अंतर्गत वार्ड संख्या नौ के मीरपुर गांव की हैं। जहां अर्ध निर्मित ‘हर घर नल का जल’ योजना आज तक आधा अधूरा है।
ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि पूर्व मुखिया गुड्डू शर्मा के कार्यकाल में योजना की शुरुआत की गई थी परंतु आज तक निर्माण कार्य पूर्ण नहीं हो पाया है। सरकार हर घर तक नल का जल पहुंचाने का दावा कर रही है परंतु गांव के एक भी घर में तक नल का जल नहीं मिल पाया है या यह कहें कि विगत दो-तीन वर्षों में पंचायती राज व्यवस्था का तंत्र पूरी तरह फेल हुआ है।
क्योंकि सरकार के प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों द्वारा विगत वर्षों में क्रियान्वित योजना का जांच एवं मरम्मत कार्य की प्रक्रिया पूरी कर दी गई है फिर भी यह योजना उनकी नज़रों में नहीं आ पाई। बिहार सरकार की सर्वाधिक महत्वकांक्षी योजना की दुर्दशा प्रखंड क्षेत्र में किए जा रहे विकास के दावे पर तमाचा है।
