औरंगाबाद। किशोर न्याय परिषद औरंगाबाद के प्रधान दंडाधिकारी मनीष कुमार पाण्डेय ने मंडल कारा औरंगाबाद का निरीक्षण किया और जेल अधीक्षक को आदेश दिया की रिमांड के समय जूविनाइल जस्टिस एक्ट का कठोरता से पालन किया जाएं ताकि कोई भी किशोर जेल में बंद न हो।
अधिवक्ता सतीश कुमार स्नेही ने बताया कि प्रधान दंडाधिकारी ने कैदीयों से बातचीत की जिसमें 10 कैदीयों की उम्र किशोर की संभावना है जिसे विद्यालय के नामांकन पंजी एवं मैट्रिक दस्तावेज से न्यायालय में प्रमाणित किया जा सकता है। प्रधान दंडाधिकारी ने बताया कि जेल में कैदियों को रखने की सीमा 309 है जबकि फिलहाल 946 क़ैदी जेल में बंद हैं।
कुछ व्यवस्थाओं में भी सुधार की आवश्यकता हैं। वहीं डॉक्टर एवं साइक्लोजीस्ट हमेशा उपलब्ध रहना चाहिएं। इस मसलें पर जेल अधीक्षक ने बताया कि नई जेल नवंबर-दिसंबर से शुरूआत की संभावना है। उसके बाद स्थिति में काफी सुधार हो जाएंगी। इस अवसर पर किशोर न्याय परिषद सदस्य अरूण कुमार सिंह उपस्थित थे।
